Glickman leaves ‘razzle-dazzle’ for his next step

When Dan Glickman steps down as head of the Motion Picture Association of America next September, he will cap the fourth stage of his high-profile career, clearly looking forward to Act Five, but still a fan of the industry that he says packs “razzle-dazzle.” For six years, while wrestling with weighty issues concerning intellectual property rights and film piracy here and abroad, he’s also been promoting a product he says “makes people happy.
